Groovestar features some of the best session musicians in the south of England, alongside three superb female vocalists, available throughout the south coast, London and further afield. We are willing to travel to where we are required.
Featuring music from Chic, Patty Labelle, Sister Sledge, The Jacksons, Abba, Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross & the Supremes, Martha Reeves, Stevie Wonder and many more.

Prices include our P.A. system suitable for up to 150 people and basic stage lightng. Larger P.A. and lightng rig with an engineer available on request.
The band can play background music between live sets.
Band member to perform one hour DJ service after our live sets up to midnight also available
Additional daytime options

Solo piano
Solo saxophone (with backing tracks)
Duo - double bass and piano OR saxophone and piano
Jazz trio - saxophone, piano and bass
Jazz quartet - saxophone, piano, bass and drums (drummer can play with brushes to keep the volume down)
They can perform well known jazz standards, Latin (bossa-nova, samba etc) and funky Motown and soul classics! All above options include a small P.A. system.
One 13 amp plug is required and adequate cover if performing outdoors.

I would just like to convey my thanks to Groove Star for a excellent performance at the function that we had at Heythrop Park hotel.
Everybody at the function enjoyed the entertainment that Groove Star provided and the dance floor was full from start to finish.

Groove Star can even supply a jazz duo/trio for dinner/background music.
We can play recorded music through P.A system between sets from our ipod or a selection of your favourites from your own mp3 player, so no need for a DJ.
We have Public Liability Insurance and our equipment is PAT Tested
