The Man From Funkle are a professional party function band. Famous for their funkin' grooves and danceability, the band play modern popular songs through to classic funk, disco and chart hits.The Man From Funkle is made up of 4 very talented and experienced musicians, who have all performed in a wide range of top bands during their careers.
Tim has played and toured with the Bee Gees as their keyboard player and backing vocalist and also played at the original "Live Aid" with Nik Kershaw. Dave and Jez have been the bass and keyboard players in the 70s/80s band Mud (‘Tiger Feet’ etc.). Gemma was one of the lead singers with Masque (Top Pink Floyd Tribute Band) and so on. Performance credits for the band members have also extended into a long list of big name local bands.
Essentially these guys and a girl have played the whole spectrum of events ranging from small rock venues right up to high profile corporate extravaganzas, tours abroad and festivals; Glastonbury Festival being one of the favourites having played there on at least five different occasions.
