Rob is one of a handful of magicians in the UK who is exploring the fusion of close-up magic with the evocative nature of the storyteller’s art. This makes for a performance that works at a deeper level than just a chap doing tricks; it makes the experience more of a personal journey for those who share it.Available for most age groups and events with exciting close-up magic, Rob’s approach has led to him doing work for 'Mythstories' - Britain’s only museum and resource centre for storytelling and also 'Beyond Boundaries' - an American Tour company on a 10-day Harry Potter themed tour, during which Rob performed in venues all over the UK including the Hogwarts Express, Alnwick Castle and the highlight being a gala performance in the Grand Hall at Edinburgh castle, where he worked alongside Helen East, one of Britain’s best storytellers.
Rob's approach is warm, friendly and humorous allowing those who experience his magic to feel relaxed and at ease, leaving people feeling that they are valued and as should be, an important part of the evening. With over twenty years of performance experience from Shakespeare to solo guitarist and singer, Rob is a confident performer and will bring the gift of the impossible to your event.
