Clive Cooper is a big talent with a big presence, combining great one-liners and gags with up-to-the-minute observational material to win over any audience.

Having enjoyed success as a DJ and then a vocalist in Germany, Clive decided to give stand-up a try, first finding success as half of ‘Vinnie and Clive’ notching up five summer seasons, numerous pantomimes and TV appearances.

Clive has appeared on ITV’s ‘Gagging For It’ and BBC’s ‘Jim Davidson Presents’. This led to him being asked to support Jim on several national tours.

The summer of 2009 will see Clive again accompanying Jim on a national theatre tour.

Equally renowned as an actor, Clive has been seen in ‘Clocking Off’ and ‘Emmerdale’ amongst many other appearances and is perhaps best known as the Dad in the new Oxo family.

Clive's adaptability has seen him perform at all manner of engagements. He is equally at ease entertaining HM forces worldwide, at corporate functions/ sportsmans dinners, or in theatres.

I first became aware of Clive Cooper before I met him, with his voice monologues, sharp wit and good looks. I advised him to pack it in and leave Blackpool, or I’d have him beaten up! I only once made the mistake of going on after him, so like Elvis I faked my own death. Clive works hard; if he was a boy scout he’d know every Knot. We’ll probably end up in an old people’s home for poor taste, and I bet he gets to see the nurse’s crutch before me!!!

Under the banner of The British Forces Foundation, Clive Cooper has performed for the British armed forces all over the world. From Northern Ireland to Afghanistan he has had audiences eating out of his hand. Clive is a true professional and is always our first choice when we put a tour together.

Clive Cooper performed in Oman on several occasions. Firstly for The British Business Forum at The British Embassy. This was a magnificent performance , he had the audience in tears with aughter and finished to a standing ovation, and being at the Embassy was a very clean act. It was such a revelation that a comedian can be so funny without the use of expletives. After this performance he was immediately booked for The Muscat Comedy Festival , an annual event , this ran for 3 days with Clive performing on 2 occasions and comparing the show on the other. He again went down very well indeed, keeping the mood and keeping the audiences laughing. Clive seems to have the ability to know his audience and work them to his advantage, and therefore being able to please them whatever they may be. It was also a pleasure working with Clive, he was only too pleased to assist with any advice we needed to improve our shows, or help with sound checks, lighting etc to optimise the performances.
