» Profile

The Railing Stains are a Rolling Stones tribute band, and just like The Stones, it’s all about being there, seeing them perform live on the night! They are guaranteed to capture that same 60’s raw energy. This is the band chosen by The Stones themselves to appear at the first ever Rolling Stones Convention at The Brixton Academy.

The Stains have seen Jesse Wood (Ronnie’s son) become a member of the band, toured with Art Wood and legendary international producer, Charlie Skarbeck (Dusty Springfield, Hall & Oats UB40) to produce the bands first album. The Stains move from strength to strength and are currently gigging throughout the UK and Europe.

The Railing Stains have now been established for 10 years, touring Europe and the UK. Their aim, as always is to deliver the best show ever, combined with 100% professionalism.

Performance formats available: 1 x 60 minute performance or 2 x 60 minute performance - covering all the classics and those rarer titles!

» The Band

Bob Ward - Lead Vocals
Bob Ward is the founder member of the band. He has sung with Graham Bonner (ex Rainbow), Michael Sheinker (Formerly MSG) and more Art Wood. Previous experience with his old band was support to Supertramp - but that was a few years ago! He strums a mean 12 string and has jammed with loads of big names in the past, but his real passion is the band. Bob's ambition has been achieved through sheer hard work, getting this band recognised in their own right as stated by The Stage as “one of the best Stones style bands in the UK."

Jasper Vincent - Lead Guitar
Jasper (age 24) is at one with his guitar - he cites his main influences as Chuck Berry, Reggae of all description, the Blues in general, and of course, the ultimate band... The Rolling Stones.

Rob Colley - Drums
Rob has been performing on the scene for 15 years and has a style of drumming that is reminiscent of "Moon The Loon".

Julian Hill - Bass
A fine bass player, Julian was once narrowly pipped into second place in an audition for the Black Crowes.

Wayne Barker - Rhythm Guitar
Wayne (age 25) has been playing for a full 9 years and met Bob in a local pub (where else!). Together they formed the band, and their first rehearsal was in a rehashed toilet turned into a studio. His influences are Led Zep and U2 and his ambition is to be happy :o)
