London-based jazz duo Swing2, specialise in providing elegant dinner jazz with professionalism and flair. Featuring the warm resonant vocals of Lucy Butler-Kite and skilled saxophonist Ettore D, their classy, smooth and swinging style is sure to create the perfect musical backdrop for any special event, from a romantic wedding reception to a stylish cocktail party.

Their extensive repertoire of over 80 popular jazz standards represents the very best from the jazz era, ranging from catchy swing numbers such as Fly Me to the Moon and Let There Be Love to romantic ballads like Misty and Blue Moon to infectious bossa nova rythmns such as Sway, Corcovado and The Girl from Ipanema.

Swing2's act is a unique one - offering an exciting and full, live jazz sound in a compact and portable format. The duo of saxophone and vocals perform live over specially commissioned studio recordings of piano, double bass and drums played by professional musicians - perfect if you're looking for more subtle live background music or if space, location or budget is a consideration.

Swing2 have a wealth of performance experience having played all over the UK at a range of private parties, weddings and corporate functions. Presently based in London, they play regularly in the South East but will happily travel further afield to add their special magic to your event.

BIOGRAPHIES:

Lucy Butler-Kite

Lucy has been singing jazz professionally for eight years and has a warm resonant vocal style that will add a touch of class to any event.
With a strong background in classical singing, Lucy has enjoyed a diverse musical career having worked with various musical line-ups ranging from orchestras, big bands and choral organizations to tight harmony vocal jazz groups and smaller ensembles.

Ettore D

Born in Sardinia, Ettore D has had a varied and eclectic career. Having studied with distinguished jazz player, Clive York and renowned saxophonists Ralph Moore and Tony Kofi, he has performed extensively on the London scene for over a decade.
Ettore’s passion for playing the saxophone is unmistakable and he has performed with a variety of highly regarded musicians, jazz acts and swing bands such as guitarist Giorgio Serci, his own jazz quartet Blue Notte, the Gino De Marco Band and his Big Band, Ettore D & The Italian Mob.
