Steel City Sax Quartet is a Sheffield based, young, vibrant, female saxophone quartet.Proud of their roots, the quartet decided to name themselves after Sheffield's greatest industry. Playing a wide range of jazz classical and popular music, including many of their own arrangements to add to the wide variety of saxophone quartet music commercially available. Arrangement of any piece of music is available on request.
Steel City Sax is suitable for your wedding reception or ceremony, garden party, corporate event, society ball, birthday party, recital or festival. Indoor or outside performances are available, either acoustically or with amplification.
To date, Steel City Sax have performed at numerous prestigious Sheffield venues including Culters Hall, The Winter Gardens, The Botanical Gardens and The Crucible (during the World Snooker Championships), enjoyed joint concerts with other musical groups, and of course many private parties, weddings and celebrations.
