Soulounger are one of London's premier entertainment acts. The six-piece live band from Hayes, Middlesex, play a fantastic mixture of Motown, classic soul & lounge numbers from the 60's, 70's & 80's. They also have an amazing repertoire of Rock 'n Roll, funk & disco playing the hits of Marvin Gaye, Diana Ross, Barry White, Chic, James Brown, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles & The Kinks.

In the last 2 years Soulounger have played at many weddings, functions & parties including some at a number of London's top venues such as Twickenham Rugby Football Stadium, The Madejski in Reading & Griffin Park in Brentford.

One memorable evening supporting Alexander O' Neal at the Reading Jazz Café was a highlight of the band's career.

When the band were asked to perform at The Royal Lancaster Hotel In Hyde Park to celebrate the career of former Charlton Athletic defender Richard Rufus, everyone at Soulounger was delighted.

The testimonial dinner raised a small fortune for Rufus' chosen Charity and included many distinguished guests such as Jim Davidson, Charlton Manager Alan Curbishley and a number of International Football players.

Soulounger often make regular radio appearances on local stations and once performed a live acoustic set on Warren Lee's Evening Show at Reading 107FM.

By combining the Classic Soul hits of Marvin Gaye, James Brown & Barry White with songs from legendary Rat Pack artists such as Frank Sinatra, the band have never failed to deliver a good night out for everyone.

The latest recruits to the Soulounger line-up are vocalist Anna Corcoran & keyboardist/saxophonist Curtis Stansfield. London's Alex Lawrence (guitar) and Mital Mehta (bass) make up the rest of the team.

In the immediate future, Soulounger will be playing at Parties, Functions & Weddings all over the country, providing live entertainment & disco with their own sound & lighting equipment.
