Shane Hampsheir has quickly established himself as one of the most sought after acts around — Shane is an outstanding singer with a charisma synonymous to Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis along with other great artists such as Bobby Darin, Nat King Cole and Matt Monro.

Shane is available either singing to backing tracks, a 4 piece band right up to a 17 piece Big Band complete with dancers and backing singers.

Shane can also be seen at some of the larger theatres and music festivals throughout Kent.

Not Just Swing...

Shane's repertoire is limitless... he also sings and performs songs from the greats of yesteryear such as Buddy Holly, Elvis and The Beatles right through to today's stars like Robbie Williams, McFly, James Blunt and Michael Buble. Shane also has a great love of the theatre and can offer a range of songs from West End shows from Grease through Guys and Dolls to hits from the classics - Les Miserables and Phantom of the Opera.

» Biography

Shane was born in Gravesend in April 1988 and at the tender age of 3 was performing with his Dad in the video tent at Butlins (albeit a little reluctantly!).

Shane's interest in performing arts grew as he went through primary and secondary school with his first solo performance in 1996 in his primary school showcase.

From there he went on to win a Butlins Talent Contest and, well and truly bitten by the showbiz bug, has never looked back.

Shane starred in lead roles in many school productions including Grease, The Wizard of Oz, Macbeth and Oliver. He has also performed at some of London's best known West End Theatres, including Her Majesty's Theatre, Theatre Royal Drury Lane, Sadler's Wells, The Royal Albert Hall and the London Palladium.
Shane has recently appeared in theatres around Kent (including The Stag, Sevenoaks, Bob Hope, Eltham and The Hazlitt, Maidstone) in amateur dramatic productions of A Chorus Line, Crazy for You and Guys and Dolls, as well as taking centre stage for many of Reynolds Performing Arts Academy's showcases where he is now studying Musical Theatre. In 2006 Shane has continued gigging around the South of England.

Some of Shane's recent credits include singing live on BBC Radio Kent on behalf of Children in Need, an appearance on ITV and coverage on Radio Oriana.

Most recently Shane has been a regular guest on Eric ‘Monster’ Halls BBC Essex show, been invited to perform at music festivals and is lined up for a UK tour in the near future.
