Generations of followers have proven that the beat and pulse of this music cannot be denied - and its a sound that will fill your event with a warmth and joy throughout the evening. The show is committed to creating a party atmosphere through these happy and familiar sounds.
The show also pays homage to the roots of Ska by including hits from reggae artists such a Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff, Johnny Nash and Billy Ocean.
Sam Ska Man! offers you all the energy and party atmosphere of a full ska and reggae show without the practical size; volume limitations, and substantial cost of a full Ska band, and can cater for all venues and social events.
Sam himself is a renowned rhythm and blues guitarist and singer, hugely popular throughout the south-east of England and beyond. Sam is an experienced gigging musician with more than 20 years experience as a seasoned performer and entertainer, having played lead guitar and vocals, (in literally thousands of gigs!), in various bands, duos, and now solo. His guitar style is stunning in the style of traditional English R&B, and blues bands, and the trademark rhythmic beats of ska and reggae.
The show is fully self contained and carries state of the art sound and lighting systems, laser backdrop (and smoke machines if required).
Sam uses wire-free guitar transmitters so he can interact with audiences and ensure everyone feels involved with the show.
