He may just be emerging as one of the fastest rising stars in the tribute world, but Bob Wyper started out in the music business in 1972, just about the time Rod Stewart was becoming one of the biggest stars in the world of rock and pop.

Bob's vocal range and natural resemblance to Rod make it easy to see why he chose this new music project, more so as he has followed Rod's career since the Long John Baldry days.

A love of the showbiz side of music is obvious from Bob's performances which are both energetic and colourful. You'll love the costumes and you'll certainly love the choice of Rod Stewart songs taken from his rock and pop collections over the years!

Not many shows of this calibre will fit into the smaller clubs and venues, but Bob is never happier than having an audience right on top of him, whether its a 90 seat social club or a 300 seat dinner in the poshest hotel. Rod's music crosses all boundaries and Bob carries that sentiment still further.

Performance Format:
The Rod Stewart Tribute Show by Bob Wyper can be booked as a 1 x 60 minute performance or 2 x 45 minute performance.

Shows are a solo performance using high quality backing tracks, specially prepared and edited by Bob himself.

Additional music can be played for background, dance or party for a small extra fee.

» Equipment

Bob uses the Bose L1 system, doubled up with 4 small bass units to provide a high quality sound in rooms from under 100 up to 250 - 300 people. Lighting gantry and starcloth backdrop subject to space, and other lights will be used as appropriate to venue and crowd.
