The Trio was formed in 2006, when father and son team Chris and Mark, after 12 very successful years performing as the duo ‘Backbeat Generation’, and a subsequent 12 month break to re-charge their batteries, were reunited with an old mate, professional drummer, Ralph Davey.

The new line-up re-energised the act, spawned a new name and set them off on a tour of coastal holiday parks around the UK, including some of the prestigious Warner Leisure Group Hotels where they have been warmly received as a cabaret band.

Mark is the guitarist and main vocalist, while Chris plays Bass Guitar, provides some frontline vocals and most of the harmonies. Ralph delivers the solid beat that is such an important part of the sound and also provides back-line vocals.

The trio have managed, after much hard work and rehearsal, to sucessfully integrate a programmed (by Mark) keyboard into the sound to add an extra dimension to their performances.

Their range of material is extensive, covering titles from the rock n’ roll roots of the 50’s, through all the mega-hits of the 60’s and 70’s with a sprinkling of other stuff as well. Many of their numbers are performed in medley-form to allow them to cram as many monster hits into the show as possible!

The trio are a tight, professional, live act with a great ‘stage presence’ delivering a show packed with exciting, foot tapping numbers, and a droll line in humour, guaranteed to get any audience on their feet, singing along, and having a memorable night!

The Rockaholics fees compare very favourably with other acts currently on the circuit, but ,those who have enjoyed one of their performances and have seen them in action, all agree that they are right up there at the top for entertainment value!

For the smaller venue, and those without a full entertainment license, the act is also available as a Duo. The duo enables venues with, maybe, a limited budget or smaller performance area, to bring to their audience the same exciting, high quality entertainment that audiences of the Rockaholics, at larger venues, enjoy.
