Peter Dinsley is undoubtedly one of the finest crooners / swing singers this country has seen in many years.

At the age of 44 he is still only very young within this genre of music, as Mr Frank Sinatra and many more did not reach there prime until the age of 50.

Peter has been compared to many of the greats including Matt Monro, Mel Torme and Vic Damone with an unparallel ease at which he sings, producing perfect melody and phasing with a velvet tone.

Peter has also been told by his fellow musicians that he has that swing/jazz timing of Mr Sinatra himself. Peter Dinsley has been singing with many of the country's leading big bands for the past 15 years where he has completed his apprenticeship.

Peter fronted Big Bands such as Chris Smith and his String Of Pearls for about 7 years and made good friends with some of Britain’s leading musicians. He has also played with the Dave Marion Big Band and the Len Phillips Big Band and most recently has been wooing audiences with his vocals with the Denis Hynes small band throughout London.

Peter Dinsley has also set up his own big band which played their debut outdoor concert last year (2006) at the Western Hanger Castle in Kent. The event was a smash hit and the show is promising to be even better in 2007 with many more outdoor concerts lined up.

Peter has been joined by a lot of his pals in the industry all of the musicians in his band are either working on TV and for the Rat Pack in London or the world renowned Syd Lawrence Orchestra and are internationally recognised musicians.

The last year he has tried to perfect his performance as a solo artist/ cabaret singer. Now instead of being just a very good singer he is turning into a great singer.

A lot of the work he does at the moment is on play back and has over 150 top quality swinging backing tracks (they have to be good because of his association and passion for the live bands he has worked with).
