Bright and original, fresh and funny that's what they say about Paul Adams.

Producers, management, performers, cruise directors and audiences like him for his pleasant, easy going, crowd pleasing style and because he is constantly changing his material.

Paul started this most successful phase of his career as the opening act of choice for star performers like The Temptations, The Stylistics and Gene Pitney touring the UK's biggest venues while fine tuning his brand of good clean comedy that was relevant and funny.

He is almost resident at the Royal Albert Hall where he has made a total of eight appearances so far: twice with the legendary Stevie Wonder, two more with the stylish George Benson and most recently opening for Smokey Robinson.

Audiences immediately warmed to Paul, but it was the reaction of the American crews that best pleased him and encouraged him to make regular visits to north America, readily accepting invitations to perform guest spots at clubs in Toronto, New York, Vancouver and Montreal.

Paul was very quickly picked up by the big American cruise lines to entertain their multi-national guests worldwide. His enthusiasm for comedy remains undiminished and his ability to adapt his routines and create new ones on the spot is constantly tested.

For two years Paul worked regularly on Capital Gold Radio, first on Breakfast with Brad then on the All Request Breakfast. His infectious humour and obvious delight at being on the radio was a big hit with Gold listeners.

He has an assured presence in the TV studios which comes in part from his teenage years when he often accompanied his Dad to recordings. Paul's Dad, Charlie Adams, wrote material for just about all the big Saturday night entertainment shows in the 80's and 90's.

He writes new material everyday and is developing several ideas for TV and Radio shows. He created the stage production Make 'Em Laugh The Solid Gold Comedy Show which Flying Music sent out on two successful UK tours.
