Mark Waddington - Comedy Magician

Mark Waddington is a Professional Comedy Magician with a flare for all things entertainment. He is a well respected performer combining astounding magic with cheeky comedy and wit, to create a unique blend of entertainment.

Mark's award winning stage act and stunning close up magic have not gone unnoticed. Professional Magician and pick pocket, Mark Raffles has said that Mark is "the most original magic act he's seen" and 80's comedian Jimmy Cricket has nothing but praise for the Comedy Trickster after working with Mark on several occasions
Mark has appeared in some of the most prestigious venues within the UK, including several appearances at the City Varieties Music Hall, Leeds. When he was 14, he was lucky enough to become the youngest ever solo artiste to appear on the famed Stage. Working at the City Varieties has helped Mark become the success he is due to making strong contacts and gaining the trust of well known and respected entertainers.

As well as his award winning Stage and Close Up, Mark is an accomplished Children's Magician and has held regular contracts with Children's Museum EUREKA! since 2005. Mark is also the resident Magician and Compere for the Skipton Waterways Festival where he engages audiences of thousands of people for 3 full days

Mark has been lucky enough to be supporting Magician for many big names. A recent appearance was supporting Channel 4 Magician Paul Zenon during his Stand-up show, as well as performing his comedy magic act with Jimmy Cricket, Johnnie Casson, Bobby Knutt, Gorden Kaye, and many, many more.

Mark has built up a large catalogue of media appearances during his career. He has been seen on BBC, ITV and Channel 4, and also has the unique ability to perform mind blowing magic on the radio. Listeners have heard Mark on several BBC based radio stations, including BBC Radio 1. Mark has also made many appearances on his local radio Station - Fresh Radio. Mark is regularly in the newspaper pages across Yorkshire and even appears in the national papers from time to time. Mark is currently in negotiations to present a full TV series - more details to follow!

As well as his public achievements, Mark was lucky enough to be granted access to the Bradford Magic Circle at the tender age of 13. Membership isn't usually granted until reaching 18. Mark became a full member of the world renowned group - The Magic Circle - in 2009.

Mark is getting rave reviews for his stage show appropriately named "Too Lazy to get a real Job...". The show is an action packed 50 minutes of razor sharp comedy, mind bending magic, cheeky charm and wit, which combine to make the unique style which Mark is so famously known for. Performed as a stage show or a floor cabaret, the show can be any length from 10 minutes to 50 minutes and can be tailored to suit requirements.
