Freespirit are a 5-7 piece high energy dance band, whose extensive repertoire of 60s to Present dance music has captured, pleased, entertained and set audiences alight across the globe.

Their CV is outstanding and includes many prestigious venues such as Casino du Liban at Le Baccarat (Grand Opening), and Café Paris Leicester Square.

A seasoned, experienced and passionate act ideal to highlight weddings, corporate events and all celebrations. Thanks to sky high musicianship and an astonishing singer, they have successfully secured residencies in venues of all types; from sophisticated & intimate restaurants in Mayfair to the loudest nightclubs of Leicester Square!

Fronted by the charismatic and visually engaging Val Kelly, a musical chameleon who knows just how to 'work the crowd' like no other, they offer a fine blend of styles from across the eras, where every song is known, every song is recognisable.

Comprising of seasoned musicians who have performed with world renowned artistes including Isaac Hayes, Nina Simone, Herbie Hancock, Gloria Gaynor, Hot Chocolate, Van Morrison, The Drifters, Kylie Minogue, and Annie Lennox, Freespirit always delivers an infectiously fascinating and entertaining live show where a good time is guaranteed by all, for all… Whatever and wherever the occasion it systematically ends up in an explosion of encores.

The band has an extensive repertoire including jazz standards, jazz-funk, acid jazz and soul music. Based in London, Freespirit have performed more than 1500 gigs throughout 7 countries including the UK.
