The Fool Fighters were formed late in 2007 from member of two of Kent’s finest original bands. Joe Coomes and Sy Morton (Tortilla Army) joined forces with Justin Smithers and Tony Chapman (Breed) to put together what is arguably the best sound-a-like / look-a-like Foo Fighters Tribute act in the UK.

Bought together by the love of the music of the Foos, The Fool Fighters have already started creating a buzz and gained notoriety based on the sheer pedigree of the musicians involved, and the amazing response from the first few gigs. Booking requests have already started coming in from all over the UK.

The band use authentic Foo Fighters instruments and clothes. The front man bears such a striking resemblance to Dave Grohl himself that the band's first review in Street Voice magazine read:

'The Fool Fighters are Foo Fighters tribute band and despite this being their first gig, they won over both the young and old crowd who were there to witness some quality musicianship. I had to look twice at the vocalist, as when I first saw him thought it actually was Dave Grohl! These will be another crowd winner who will no doubt pack out venues as they do more gigs together.'

They accurately recreate all of the singles, but rather than playing the songs exactly like a record, they perform all the extra bits including sing-a-long parts added by the the Foos when performing live, thus creating a true Foo Fighters live experience!
