The Counterfeit Bee Gees are recognised as one of the UK's top Bee Gees tribute bands. Each member of the band has performed in some of the greatest tribute acts the UK has ever seen. This is an authentic tribute show incorporating state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment together with a back screen projector which helps to recreate the life and times of the Bee Gees in visual form.

You'll hear all your favourite hits painstakingly reproduced as the bands repertoire spans a total of four decades, from their very first No.1 hit 'Spics 'n' Specs' right through to songs from their latest album.

Joe who takes on the role of Maurice is an accomplished musician, playing Piano/keyboards and Guitar live in the act, he hits all the high notes with a vocal power 2nd to none, he sings mostly harmonies but is frequently called upon to sing solo. He comes from Liverpool and has just seen a musical he wrote the music and lyrics for, performed for the first time in his home town.

John, has been the voice of Barry Gibb for many years, a very accomplished musician, playing live guitar in the act, formerly with Staying Alive, he possesses a vocal ability so accurate to Barry Gibb, it could almost be the man himself, He not only sounds exactly like Barry Gibb but looks uncannily like him too. John comes from Manchester, but after a lengthy stay in Germany he now resides in South Wales.

Ted who takes on the role of Robin has, like John and Joe been in the music business for what seems like donkeys years, working all over the country and Europe. He is also a very accomplished musician playing guitar and keyboards, ( unfortunately not needed in the Counterfeit Bee Gees). Ted sings most of the low to mid harmonies as well as performing solo songs. Ted originall comes from London, but now resides in Bristol.

"You recommended 'The Counterfeit Bee Gees' as an act for one of our tribute shows, what can I say, but absolutely fabulous. They are a credit to their profession and a credit to themselves. One could almost say the Bee Gees were actually there singing. The three artistes Joe, Ted and John looked the part and sang like the real Bee Gees. They had a fantastic light show and sound just like being in a theatre or large arena, they should be at the top of anyone's list booking a tribute band. I was not a Bee Gees fan but thanks to this act I am now, my wife will have nothing derogatory said about the original Bee Gees but she did say during the show that she thought she was watching the real Bee Gees, now that's a compliment to this tribute band. Nothing was too much trouble for the band they were ably assisted by, I think John's partner on the light show and Joe's son on sound, stunning! Hopefully they will come back to us, the sooner the better, our audience loved them, I have never seen so many people in their twilight years up dancing, singing and clapping along with each song, thank you so much"

I have never seen a more diverse jersey audience, composed of ages eight to eighty, dressed in varying impressions of what the 1970s meant to them, a packed Opera House waited for an evening of disco classics. The first half was all stunning, the mock Bee Gees band the Counterfeit Bee Gees where amazing musicians and, from Massachusetts to Tragedy and Words the harmonies where spot on. The audience was on its feet by the fourth song and enthralled through even some of the lesser known songs, like I started a joke. The lead singers voice was extremely close to the original, but with a power and strength all its own. It’s a shame that there was little information about this troupe, and they didn’t take much applause as themselves – its possible they might be the remaining Bee Gees touring incognito, they where that good. The Counterfeit Bee Gees where Tremendous.
