Blaze of Jovi are a spectacular newly formed Bon Jovi tribute Act. The band was formed by ex-vocalist of the Bon Jovi tribute Act Born Jovi and extensive auditioning was undertaken to ensure the right musicians were selected for this exemplary tribute act. All the band members have extensive experience of performing to any size of audience with precise expertise. From the moment the show opens to the last encore you will believe you are listening and watching Bon Jovi themselves.

The band is made up of professional musicians who have played in or alongside named bands such as The Easy Beats, PJ Proby, Kings of Queen, Magnum, U.F.O. The Sweet, Steve Stienmans Meat Loaf and Tree House 3. Individually the members band have played in many countries to hundreds of thousands of people over their collectively vast music careers.

This band are committed to ensuring that a totally mind blowing professional performance is given at every event they tread the boards and that your guests have a truly enjoyable Bon Jovi experience.
A brief profile of each band member is as follows:-

Ian Frankel (Jon Bon Jovi)

Ian has been in the music industry for over 20 years his back ground is wide and varied having taken part in various amateur dramatic productions and even a touring musical. These skills are clearly shown within his on stage professional performances.

In 1988 he fronted the semi-proffessional rock band Madatory and then went on to front the popular tribute band Born Jovi from1996 to 2002.
Since leaving Born Jovi he has fronted a number of semi pro-covers bands and continues to tour all of the UK as a professional vocalist displaying his vocal expertise coving stars such as Jon Bon Jovi and Rod Stewart. Ians unbelievable performance as Jon Bon Jovi is not to be missed.

Russ Hitchin (Ritchie Sambora)

From 1997 1999 Russ attended the Guitar Institute in London where he gained a Diploma in contemporary music. During this time he worked with various bands and did numerous sessions.

1999 2000 he attend Guildford Academy of music during this period he did artists performances at the London Guitar Show.

2000 -2009 he was a member of Treehouse 3. The album Waiting for Tomorrow was released through Atlantic Records. Russ went on to do a tour of the East Coast and Mid West of U.S.A.

2005 2009 he toured and produced an album with Superthrill Temple again treding the boards across the East Coast of U.S.A.

All the experience he has gained has made Russ is an absolutely outstanding guitarist with an ability to exactly emulate the powerful riffs, guitar solos and backing vocals that only Ritchie Sambora can do live.

Ste Steadman (Hugh McDonald)

Ste has worked and toured with many professional people such as PJ Probey, The Easy Beats and Kings of Queen to name but a few. Over the years he has played and mastered most styles from Soul to Hard Rock, this along with his other talents makes him an irreplaceable asset to the band.

Ste has a wide and varied background and a career and experience as an exemplary bassist that spans over 20 years. He is also impeccably multi talented, as he is not only responsible for delivering precise bass lines and an outstanding backline, which he does with the utmost professionalism he also provides all sound engineering and all recording facilities for the band.

Dave Markham(David Bryan)

Dave is Blaze of Jovis true Diamond Dave. His ability as a keyboarder is just amazing. When the band met him the minute he played they knew the auditions were over, and they had found the right man, who is more than capable of reproducing the complex pianist skills of David Bryan himself.
Again Dave is a very accomplished musician and has toured with more bands than he can remember. Most famous of all in the UK and Dubai with Steve Steinmans Meat Loaf Tribute Act. Over the years Dave has bowled over audiences in excess of 5000 per night with his musical talents.

Chris Greer (Ticco Torres)

Chris begun playing drums over 30 years ago and is completely self taught. During his career he has played many different styles from Country to Modern Romance to Hard Rock / Death metal. He has played with countless cover bands which has led to him having fantastic stage presence and this has developed his skills as a drummer / percussionist to enable him to become one of the best unsigned / semi-pro drummers in the UK.

Between 1983 and 1985 he was signed to Ebony Records and played drums for Cobra on 2 albums which were released across the UK, Canada, Japan and the U.S.A. the second album Back From The Dead receiving a rating of KKKKK in Kerrang magazine. After leaving Cobra he joined Stadium who had fantastic reviews from Metal Hammer and Metal Forces. This led to brief work with Mark Stanway (Magnum) and Lawrence Archer (U.F.O.).

After a break from playing he beat the skins for Iron Mayhem an Iron Maiden Tribute Act and then joined Blaze of Jovi in May 2009.
