Back in Time is the result of four experienced musicians and a talented lady singer who each share a love of quality live music in East Sussex. Each member has a wealth of musical talent spanning many years, having played in both local bands and in other groups.With musical tastes ranging from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, the band is able to cater for any type of function or venue. Whether playing in a small club, or large banqueting hall, the music of Back in Time is guaranteed to get toes tapping and people dancing. Back in Time are available for gigs at clubs, weddings, birthday parties and corporate functions. We are committed to providing you with an entertaining evening playing all your favourites from artistes such as; Bobby Darin, The Beatles, The Searchers, The Drifters, Status Quo, The Rolling Stones, Elvis, Queen, Buddy Holly and Eric Clapton to name a few.
Mark, a new member plays lead & rhythm guitar and is a competent lead singer which has brought a new dimension to the band, as Back in Time now have two vocalists supporting Carol their lead singer and backing vocals. Back in Time work a 4 or 5 piece band, 2 sets show that can be performed without Carol if needed, venue size or cost etc.
They have established themselves as a band that not only plays songs as they were intended, but also as a band that is not afraid to play them with an individual style. Memory Layne are tried and tested and with their reasonable rates just know you won’t be disappointed.
