Aurora are a top wedding party and function band, providing a wide a range of live music from across the decades to meet all tastes to help make your private function, corporate event, party or wedding celebrations a great success.

Auroras core 5 piece line up consists of highly experienced professional musicians and vocalists who have worked with a wide range of the music industry names such as Cliff Richard, Level 42, Suzi Quatro, Dr Feelgood, and Chris Farlowe to name a few.

The 5 piece line up is the principle line up and boasts 3 lead vocalists, (1 female and 2 male,) and a talented line up of musicians that toghether mean Aurora has the range and flexibility to cover a wide range of songs and styles to appeal across the generations.
Whilst the 5 piece is the core of the band and the principle offering - the band can be flexible and flex up to a 7 or 8 piece , by adding drum, bass and keyboard where the larger line up is required by the client and if necessary flex down to a 3 or 4 piece line up to suit the smaller budgets or venues.

Aurora have an extensive repertoire of music ranging from the 50s to the 00s across all music styles which allows them to tailor sets to meet a wide variety of clients requirements and to get the audience on to the dance floor, and then keep them there!

From within the Aurora line up an instrumental sax and guitar duo can also provide sets of background music to provide a mellow backdrop for guest receptions or for dining accompaniment, prior to the evenings entertainment with the full band making Aurora a one stop entertainment solution for your event.

Aurora are fully self contained band with a full range of PA systems set ups and an intelligent stage lighting system to suit the different size venues that a professional function band needs to be able to service.

All backed up with the relevant PAT certification for their equipment, 5 Million Public Liability Insurance and Musicians Union Memberships.

Aurora are totally professional in all aspects of the service they provide for the client from the communication, planning and liaison with the client and venue (when and where appropriate), through to the nights performance itself.

This professionalism also includes the range of appropriate stage attire they have to suit the type of function and venue.
Experience built from hundreds of gigs in a multitude of different environments and functions means their lead vocalist is also expert in tailoring the music played on the night to the audience, engaging with the audience between numbers, and generally helping the organizers host the event and create and maintain the party atmosphere to make the event a success.

» Set Formats

Aurora Offers:

2 x 60 Minute Set
Or
3 x 40 Minute Sets

Auroras Options:

Option 1 - This is the core offering of the 5 piece line up which provides 3x 40 minute or 2 x 1hr sets of music.

Option 2 - If a larger line up is desired for the larger budget or venue, a 7-8 piece option is offered as we can add to the line up pro drum and bass players and a keyboard player as required.

Option 3 - For smaller budgets a 3 or 4 member band line up can sometimes be offered with either 1 or 2 saxes as required.

Option 4 - Additional Mellow Instrumental Set - if you wish to have mellow accompaniment to greet the guests as they arrive at your wedding or corporate reception or to play background during the meal, a guitar and sax combo, (from a 2m by 2m footprint, using a Bose L11 PA system) can provide unobtrusive accompaniment to the start of your special event.

Option 6 - Additional Band Sets - additional band sets can be pre-agreed if the client wants an early start to the party or to extend the event beyond midnight.
