Having left school in 1981 Andy joined H.M. Band of the Grenadier Guards playing the saxophone. After 8 years of playing ceremonial and private functions around the world he decided to leave the Army and reenter the real world! In 1990 he joined the touring show Grease the musical and played the theatres of the U.K. and Northern Ireland for 2 years playing sax & guitar.

In 1992 Andy started working in the Middle East and continued to do so on and off for the next 5 years. Organizing contracts for duos, trios and full bands he would spend time in Dubai, Oman, Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan and Israel. For the last few years he has been playing solo around the U.K. interspersed with regular contracts overseas including, St.Anton ski resort in Austria, venues in Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Scandinavia, France, Channel Islands, Faroe Islands and even a tour of rock clubs in British Columbia, Canada. As well as solo work Andy is now in the process of writing an original album for release in the future and still loves to travel and work abroad.
