Abba, since winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with their song Waterloo, have remained one of the most popular bands of all time.Agnetha, Bjorn, Benny and Anna-Frieda dominated the charts for nearly ten years and enjoyed nine number 1 hits in the United Kingdom, becoming Sweden's biggest export, even outselling selling Volvo cars!
When Abba spilt up in the early eighties, the world was denied the opportunity to ever seeing the super-group perform live on stage again, or so it seemed!
Formed in the early 90s, Abba UK made their mark by becoming one of the most wanted tribute bands in the entertainment world.
Their first public performance was filmed by the BBC for Children in Need, they then went on to be filmed by Granada television to appear in "Big Meg and Little Meg, then Midlands Today for the appearance on a open air concert at Wolves stadium and recently appeared on Midlands Today "The Beat Goes On".
This year alone Abba UK have performed in Poland, Cypus, Germany, France, Egypt and, of course, the UK, re-living the excitement of the 70s and bringing you the global phenomenon that was Abba "Back To The Stage".
